Competing in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, the UEFA Champions League, and often for their national teams, both the players and the staff at the club are always looking for ways to improve the athletes’ recovery routines and minimize their risk of injuries.

Official Recovery Partner of AC Milan

Recognizing the benefits of percussive therapy, AC Milan entered a multi-year partnership with tech wellness company Therabody that will see the Men’s and Women’s First Team integrate the Theragun PRO into their warm-up and recovery protocols.

“[…] We are always on the lookout for new ways to improve our performance on and off the pitch,” AC Milan Chief Revenue Officer Casper Stylsvig said. “[…] That is why we are particularly proud to join forces with Therabody – recognized internationally as the leaders in self-care and wellness solutions – and to be able to use their best-in-class products to support the health of our players.”

Dr. Jason Wersland, Therabody founder and Chief Wellness Officer, added: “We are thrilled to be supporting AC Milan in its pursuit of player wellness. The Club is incredible on the pitch, and I am honoured to be developing customised, effective warm-up and recovery protocols for the team.”

“I’m looking forward to seeing both the Men’s and Women’s First Teams take their performance to the next level.” For Los Angeles, California-based Therabody, the partnership with AC Milan comes on the heels of a similar deal with Arsenal FC. The company also works with Real Madrid, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, and FC Bayern.

About AC Milan

Founded in 1899, Associazione Calcio Milan, more commonly referred to as AC Milan, is one of the most successful and storied clubs in Italian football. With a total of 18 FIFA and UEFA trophies so far, the club has won the most international trophies out of any Italian club.

After winning the Serie A title in 2010/11, the club struggled to meet its ambitious goals in the following years and underwent several changes in ownership and the head coaching position until it hired former Fiorentina manager Stefano Pioli in late 2019.

In the 2020/21 season, the team managed to finish in 2nd place only behind local rivals Inter Milan and qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in seven years.
