Paul George uses the Theragun PRO massage gun, the Wave Roller smart vibrating foam roller, and the RecoveryAir PRO pneumatic compression boots for his recovery. The 6-time NBA All-Star and Olympic Gold Medal winner was first introduced to Theragun during his early days in Indiana and has been an avid user ever since.
So when PG was approached by Therabody ahead of the 2020 return of the NBA to become a brand ambassador, it was just a logical step to take. “I can’t live without my Theragun, especially during the season,” he continued, “and I’m a fan of their products, so a partnership just felt natural.”
A Palmdale, California native, George was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 10th overall pick back in 2010. Having spent more than a decade in the NBA and also suffering a few injuries on the way, the LA Clippers Shooting Guard / Small Forward knows how important it is to take care of his body.
“The Theragun gives me a deep muscle massage unlike anything else that I have tried, truly activating my muscles and alleviating my pain,” he explained. “The devices also allow me to train harder, move better, and recover faster — I use them consistently on and off the court.”
George was later joined by fellow NBA superstar James Harden in the lineup of Therabody Athletes. Today, Miami Heat shooting guard Tyler Herro and recently retired Pau Gasol are also among the athlete ambassadors of the brand.
